Dr. Shambley-Ebron is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio and Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Community Health Nursing and Education at Valdosta State University. After many years of clinical practice in community health nursing, she earned her PhD in Nursing from The Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. Dr. Shambley-Ebron has taught in both graduate and undergraduate programs and most recently directed the PhD in Nursing Program at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Shambley-Ebron has presented her research regionally, nationally and internationally and has been published in peer-reviewed journals. With an expertise in culture and health, she is a fellow of the Transcultural Nursing Society Scholars.
